The Artura GT3 OR IS IT 4 was running at Donnington track last week and posting fast times so I presume it may be nearing production......but it's a BIG assumption.
Has anyone had a chance to sit in one? I really liked my 600 LT, but ultimately traded to a 720 spider because the interior of the 600 felt very small and cramped to me.
I sat in one nearly a year ago and it was very comfortable, the interior is very ergonomic too. I'd love to drive one to form a complete opinion on it but I do like the styling and comfort of it, I believe it will be a good leap from a 570.

July/August is what I was told.
My dealer just told me June/early July in the US. I don’t know if he has better or worse, or older or newer, info.

That sounds early. I heard that the tester cars will be at dealers in August. Moreover, June/early July deliveries would mean the cars are in production right now.

Last I knew, they've been in production for a month.

4 demo units have arrived for the US market. My understanding is customer builds are starting now (month of May)

Are the 4 demos the non-drivable cars that have been going around? Or 4 actual true Arturas?

I think they’ve been in production for longer than a month because I was at MTC over a month ago and the line was full of Artura’s. I saw them drive one into the ‘rain’ booth for testing as well...The one I sat in was a full working car as well. I think you’ll start seeing running/drivable demos in July at dealers...Some maybe sooner...

I have a feeling performance wise this car is gonna sneak up on people. I thought it looked much better in person than in pics. Other than Elva seats which I think are by far McLaren's best seat, I think the Arturas are pretty comfy. The countdown begins...they’ll be in the road soon enough.

Bruno Senna laps Miami GP circuit in all-new McLaren Artura High-Performance Hybrid to mark its North American dynamic debut
6 May 2022
Twenty-one years ago, the legendary Ayrton Senna won his final US Grand Prix driving for McLaren at the Phoenix street circuit in Arizona. This week, his nephew Bruno Senna, became one of the first drivers to lap the brand-new Miami GP circuit at the wheel of the all-new McLaren Artura.
The laps around the new 3.36-mile purpose-built Miami International Autodrome, with the iconic Hard Rock Stadium at its heart, marked the dynamic debut of the McLaren Artura in North America, which is set to become the largest market for the High-Performance Hybrid (HPH) supercar when customer deliveries begin in July.
With its 19 corners and three straights including elevation changes over an exit ramp and under various flyovers, together with three DRS zones, the circuit provided Bruno with plenty of opportunities to fully exploit the handling and performance of the Artura which, as McLaren’s first ever series-production hybrid supercar, delivers both torque in-fill to maximize acceleration and full EV driving capability.
“It was truly amazing to be able to push the McLaren Artura around this dynamic and free-flowing new Grand Prix circuit in the heart of Miami. The Artura is a car that keeps on giving, especially on a track; it’s smooth and refined but with an aggressive edge that is just waiting to be discovered as you utilize the E-motor combined with the powerful V6 engine. It’s predictable and fun – the perfect ride for a Grand Prix weekend.”
Bruno Senna, McLaren Ambassador and race car driver
Built on the all-new McLaren Carbon Lightweight Architecture, which is uniquely optimized for HPH models and produced in-house at the McLaren Composites Technology Centre in the Sheffield region of the UK, the Artura features an all-new hybrid powertrain that comprises a twin-turbocharged 3.0 liter V6 engine, axial flux E-motor and energy-dense battery pack, which in combination with McLaren’s super-lightweight engineering philosophy delivers electrification without compromise.
With power and torque outputs of 671bhp and 531lb ft respectively, the Artura can accelerate from 0-60mph in 3.0 seconds and has a maximum speed of 205mph. An all-new lightweight eight-speed transmission combined with a new rear suspension design, uprated electro-hydraulic steering and Proactive damping control enhance the traditional agility, stability and dynamic performance for which McLaren road cars have become renowned.
A video of Bruno’s Artura laps is available from 1:00pm ET on the McLaren Automotive social media channels outlined below.
