Sounds fun Andrew,i assume your up for it,and we would all like to see the video of you destroying the competition,at least up to 150mph i think!! That is on your way to 200mph
Stock FGTs run 180 in the mile, the MP is probably good for 190? If this is a 2-mile straight as per the website, these cars should be able to hit 200 easily
On the Millbrook proving ground straight, which I seem to remember is one mile long, I hit 186 mph in torrential rain with launch control before the need to brake and make the banked turn. This was in a 458 at Ferrari invite so not sure if it was tricked up.
However I got the feeling that the next 25 mph needed a lot more distance.
200 MPH (indicated) for me, in a Gallardo LP560-4, 10,500 ft runway, and that still required turning onto the straight from the taxi-way at 60 MPH minimum. That last 10-15 MPH can take up a lot of runway! Then did it in a 599 GTB and managed 198.
I'm entered in the Houston Mile on May 12th, however, its name is a bit of a cheat as the actual course is only one-half mile. Should be interesting tho'. Should hit 160+?
