Man I am going crazy listening to regular radio . Called my dealer and said mclaren is stalling on promised Oct 1st delivery date ? No parts he said I'm so pissed anyone else got different info ?

I have to put mine in for service next week,and the update is no-go untill the end of october.i must say everyone has different priorites,mine is the gearbox and engine upgrade,i know what everyone says but i just drive it:)

There is a fix coming for the rear quarter light assembly, the horn, the heater sensors, the gearbox response, the expresso machine water capacity and oh, Doris.

as per our dealer in middle east 6 updates on 2nd week of October:
IRIS.
BLUE TOOTH.
25 HP INCREASE.
GEAR BOX SHIFTING.
A/C.
DEFECT ON THE ENGINE SOUND.

okay my dealer just called Nov 5th anyone else get a call or confirm hope there is no more delay . now crappy part ill be in Vegas with the car for sema so i cant do it till car gets back nov 10-11 lol fail !

Nov 5th it is Guys,but remember thats the start date!! I would think they will start on their own showroom cars to get the knack,then call in customers in vin order,if they can do 2 a day that would be great,but probably lodgistically immposible,so even though mine will be one of the first (vin 79) im not excpecting to get the call till at least mid november,obviously many on here will be quicker as some worldwide dealerships havent delivered too many cars,so the bottleneck will be in the UK.
So im expecting you lot to tell me how good it is,and what im in for !!;)

I have been told by my dealer that it takes 2 days *per car* and that they cannot do two cars simultanously because they only have one bespoke McL techstation to do the reprogramming.
Because of the volume of cars Manchester had the forethought to buy another techstation,just my type of customer service ;)

sounds like the Sat Nav is still a work in progress........recalculate, recalculate
