Is anyone able to share what is included in the annual services for the 570? Perhaps someone can reference an invoice and see the breakdown?

Past threads are not comprehensive, somewhat speculative.

I’m particularly interested in the 3rd annual service which precedes the end of the standard factory warranty.

Despite continued messaging, O’gara in LA has been slow to reply to my request for this information (2 weeks).

O'Gara is HORRIBLE for getting in touch with you over phone/e-mail. Just show up to the service center and ask in person. They're great when you have them in front of you. To be fair they are usually pretty slammed.

I did search through a dozen threads, any none were comprehensive such as an invoice would offer. Only anecdotal items here and there...mostly complaining about cost :). I'm hoping this thread can become the staple for the question going forward.

It's good to know I'm not the only one. They do seem busy, however, I would appreciate just a heads up text/email that my requests will be answered within X time. I don't think that's too much to ask. Making the trip to ask in person is a time investment I'm not whiling to make at the moment. If they are as busy as they seem, why not hire another Service Specialist to assist clients and subdue these concerns? Rhetorical question, I know.

Pretty typical stuff: oil change (filter, washer, oil), cabin filter, wiper blades, key batteries, poke around here and there to check on pads, tire wear, etc. Labor is what kills it and some parts that have the Mclaren tax. Varies from dealer to dealer
The charge for this service is $2,250 in Los Angeles. So those must be some damn expensive wiper blades.

Alternatively, an oil change + inspection @ GI Automotive is $400. I rather not change the oil DIY, and can do the rest myself. Thanks!

Brad should be able to tell you what the 3rd year service should include. I believe it's $2400. It's exactly what someone else already said. Just basic checking. Probably an hour's worth of work and maybe $100 in replaced parts and the rest profit margin. heh.

Unfortunately he's the one that has been unresponsive.

Here's the first year inspection completed 7-31-2019. I'll know what the second year is shortly.

Great, thank you. This work is all straightforward to DIY.

Let's take a look at the last line item as an example of the hilarity that is McLaren service markup. Eight (8) liters of Mobile 1, in a viscosity available at Walmart, cost $20.52 each from McLaren. At Walmart, the exact same oil is sold in 5L bottles at just $4.48 per liter. Don't get me started on the $120 windshield wipers which are available for $25 at a local auto places (yes, I double-checked). Perhaps the only item of appropriate cost are the key batteries.

Regardless, I still love my McLaren. I'm just going to DIY. :)

I was about to comment on the wipers. $120 each. And One is significantly shorter than the other. lol

I look at it like an initiation fee and dues at a favorable private club.

I told them not to replace the wipers and hvac filter. Gotta preempt being raped. Why did they bleed your brake after only 1 yr?

Why 3rd party? McLaren North Jersey is local, and they do great work from what I am told.

Otherwise, it might be worth having the flying McMedics (Sean & Kevin) come to you and do it.

Right I'm sure they do great work, but I just don't have the budget right now to sink 2800 for an oil change. Would you have the contact information for Sean/Kevin? Thanks!
