In the follow up to the MP4-12C, 458, Noble, etc, testing, Nick Trott says more than once that a follow-up test with customer cars will happen:

So, did it happen and what were the results? If it didn't happen, why not?
There seemed to be some speculation (by EVO staff) that certain lap times may have been on the non-credible side, perhaps from both(all) manufacturers. Can somebody at EVO please respond?
One of EVO's contributors, Chris Harris, claimed that journalists are effectively under contract with Ferrari to not test and write about any customer car, or car that is not provided directly by Ferrari for the test. Is this the reason the customer car test was never done (or the results never published)?
Please provide some answers. It has been several months, so ample opportunities to contact customers to get cars for a test. If the test was never done, and you can still do it, please do so and I ask only one thing - put identical spec rubber on both cars and complete a thorough and fair test. Buy the tires for the participants as a thank-you for them letting you use the cars.
Both manufacturers need to be kept honest. Doing tests with customer cars is one way to do so and would have the additional benefit of being sound, interesting journalism.
Thank you!
