I have been told that all dealers have at least one spare part from the whole car available. My experience is different. It is not the first time I am waiting some days for some spare parts. Actually I am waiting for some sockets of the suspensionarm/track control arm. Not sure if I translated correctly. Those sockets are out of tolerance and the effect is a "noise". It sounds like my driver seat is squeaking. But the seat is not defect. It's coming from outside the car.
Any comments are welcome

My experience also different and, so far, it seems that anything/everything needed has had to be ordered.

I didnt have to order anything, it was in stock - even UK side markers. I was told the dealer also had an engine and transmisssion in stock - which is unheard-of in most circles.

I guess an engine and transmission are just a very large number of spare parts that have all been bolted together

I do hope that I'll never find myself in the position of having to find out if they have an engine in stock!

hmmm... i did heard the dealers require to keep at least 1 set of everything in stock. BUT, u might not be the only one needing the part. it's just taken already.
