After our memorable day at Dunsfold testing the P1 a small group of us fought our way through the early evening traffic to get to McLaren GT ,an invite to make the day complete.
Mikeyb,Boxer and myself ,unfortunately Fabian and Kanu couldn't be present,but im sure they can get an invite when ever they wish.
McLarenGT is situated 10 minutes from the MTC and is the old McLaren factory that they vacated 9 years ago,also next door is MSO.
We were given the impromptu tour by Rachel,who had kindly stayed behind to show us around,and very informing she was,its nice to see and hear from someone so enthusiastic ,very McLaren.Here are some of the pictures

One small anecdote, we were shown Ron's old office,just like he had walked out 9 years ago,the one thing that was missing was his phone?? We were told the McLarenGT staff had removed it,before it had walked,why?? It had labelled quick dial buttons. Bernie,Mika,Fabio etc !!!!!

Yes great fun, slightly strange to think of it as the old factory as by most standards it's still modern... I really like what they are trying to do with this operation... I will certainly support them when I work out the best way of doing that. They're putting a great deal of thought into making the customer aspects of their plans viable over the long term rather than just 'here's the price' ...

And of course an assault on Le Mans!

Everything on the car looks like its CF,weve seen this thing batting round the track,its an impressive piece of kit for the money........Totally bespoke,built from the ground upwards at this factory, and its been tested as such,bag tank the lot !!!

Mitch,you wasn't there,they are definitely fuel tanks,but they have to use 36 inch rims to stop them dragging ,its a proto type you know !!!
