really? I must have been thinking backwards. I thought "touring" was another word for "comfortable" and therefore I thought the comfortable seats were the ones with more padding.

window sticker says "seat size - standard" so i guess that answers the question.

I believe touring means thicker padding.
Edit: I was wrong about the above “touring” pads….

there are thicker and thinner versions of pads from McLaren, but the seat is the same. Swap your pads with the thinner ones.
