Thats interesting. What do you mount to?

 

The mount to the factory seats belt brackets into the carbon tub. No modifications, direct bolt in.

 

I do not notice any blocking of rear vision with the factory bar.. ?? the roof scoop yes. but not really a problem.

 

The factory bar will not block your view with the roof scoop. What we have is a harness bar that’s designed for the application at less than half the cost and equal in quality

 

I also didn’t order the factory harness bar? Can the factory OEM harness bar be installed after using the same mount point and installation from the factory process

 

Yes it can, but McLaren wants $20K for the part + $2K for installation. The factory option when the car was built was $9.4K. This is why I am looking for other options.

 

To help clear this up abit, the roof scoop obscures rear view, not the factory roll cage. Roll bar appears to designed in a way that minimizes rear view obstruction. The scoop eliminates the rear center field of view.
