They have the capacity to build at least 5000 units per year, right? So why aren't they doing it?
They could if they had the personnel and supply logistics. I haven’t seen anything over the last 3 years to suggest they have had that since the first round of restructuring and capital raising. They’ve been building 2-3 thousand cars per year since 2019. A lot of folks got laid off, and they owe their suppliers money. Not as bad as Aston, but not great either. And even the biggest boys are having trouble sourcing microchips and ceramic brakes and more. Porsche is shitting gold bricks and even they are struggling on supply issues.

They also cut back production to help improve quality.

They aren’t only selling 750S. They’re trying to unfuck the artura and have something on the order of 2000 of those to build. And they probably have to reserve some capacity for an ultimate series car at some point. Then post 2024, they’ll need to sell a hybrid 720 replacement, an artura spider, some kind of artura LT thing. maybe some of those don’t happen until 2025 or 2026. But they still create problems for imagining the 750 will be produced more than a few years.

Eyeball mathstimate: if they build about half their current production as 750S, that’s less than 1500 cars per year world wide. Starting end of 2023 MY to 2024 MY, is about one year. Into 2025 is 2 years. 3000 cars between > 100 dealerships. So only the top 30ish customers per dealer. Not limited but still hard to get. Maybe 1/3 or so more than 765 allocations. Pretty close to that bad, unless they decide to double the length of the production run or something
production capacity of the facility currently is 5500-6000 cars p.a. however they are limited by workforce, quality control and parts shortage, so the real max output is probably closer to 3500-4000 cars … I guess 3500-4500 in 24 months are doable

I do hope it's limited. If it does end up being that way, let's see how Mac handles the flippers.

We have people on here who have had both coupe/spider form of 765 (which I thought I read that Mac was trying to NOT do) but I may have read that wrong,..

Some people have. Not sure what that has to do with anything. They were different models with different production schedules and allocations. Allegedly the 750 will offer both at the same time … seemingly from the same allocation pool.

McLaren is fighting for survival, anything and everything is possible. Honestly, I wouldn't rely on any statement at all at the moment, everything can change almost daily. As written before, there is a dealer event in April, there might be some really surprising news. But maybe not...

Is it really limited? Hopefully not. I don't understand. I think they've sold about 2000 units this year, right? So if they're not selling enough cars, how could the 750S be sold out through 2024?
They said its only going to be for 12 months production time?

Another member on here said 12 to 24 months. Either or, its supposed to be a limited run.

I was told U.K. orders would be 5% increase over previous by the dealer, but until ndas are signed and a spec call with McLaren takes place it’s all up in the air. 5% sounds right for an in life change, 10-15% sounds right for a new model.

I literally had no clue about the 750s release, I knew something was coming so expressed interest, dealer called me last week then literally 1-2 days later the internet dropped loads of articles confirming the 750s. So seems everybody got the call in the same timescale.

Don’t know, my dealer said I had to sign an nda to see and spec the car ready for November delivery?
Think you dealer is telling you a story. No NDA need to be signed for deliveries Or for early specs. That was the thought 6 months ago but turned out not to be the case. Maybe it’s just your dealer telling you this but it is not set by Mclaren corporate and certainly not happening with other dealers.

It's all a bit ironic when apparently even Working are calling it a 750S! I'm pretty sure they copied the final specs verbatim from what they read here.
thats so funny… think maybe we should at least sign the engine or get some credit for this model? I actually bet we gave them some ideas… like calling it a “750s”

Dealers will be gathering in the UK soon. Mine is unsure of the agenda. I’m still hoping for an Amelia 750S intro in early March.
I will be in Amelia on March 4-5th. We also have a dinner event on February 11th which is to showcase the new cars coming in from McLaren. Not sure what this will hold but curious to see and hear e what they have to say.

I dont believe they will make this more aggressive looking than a 765LT. I suspect it will be comparable to the Ultimae vs SVJ.

I assume the headlights won't change, but am inquisitive if will they add a side vent style similar to the Artura.
