720s Wheels on a 570s

I found the previous thread on this, but wanted to revive this topic. Has anyone had experience with running stock 720s wheels on their 570s? I recall seeing a post where someone had 720s 10 spoke wheels installed. These are the specs I found, I think it means there's a difference of ~34mm front and ~26mm rear, I'm running 15mm spacers now on stock 10 spoke wheels. My gut tells me it will work.

720 Specs
Front - 19X9 41.65 Offset
Rear - 20X11 24.75 Offset

570 Specs
Front - 19X8 32Offset
Rear - 20X10 24 Offset

From the profile of the outer position (against the fender line), the fronts stick out an extra 4mm and the rears stick out 13mm.

The rest of the wheel difference is added to the inner profile. So for the front, add 21mm to the inner and for the rear add 12mm

That makes sense, spacers maybe needed to get the right fitment. Thoughts?

based on the spec you shared no spacers required (is my guess). There is no room to add one on the rear, and the front might benefit from a 5mm - just a guess as I dont have a 570

I saw on FB a guy put on some 720s wheels on his 570 and he said they fit great with 15mm spacers. He did note that 10mm spacers in front would be better as he was getting slight rub.

That’s where I saw it! Thanks for the info!

He is what I would call, a liar. Did you physically see it? If you take 720 wheels and put them on a super series car they poke out more than stock WITH spacers. 720 wheels with spacers would kill your fenders on super series, I gotta imagine a sport series it would be a roller skate.

It’s seems to be possible. I’ll report back in a few days with pictures and observations.

If these are in fact, the stock specs for each set up, 720s wheels will fit a 570 but rears wont take a spacer (already 13mm outward) and the fronts could do a small one, and may need it with most of the added width going to the inner well. Not sure how much room there is back there.

Right, out too far. Is that with or without spacers? I'm assuming without, because with spacers would be getting roller-skatey.
That’s with 15mm spacers all around per the person who posted it. So if that’s the case I’m sure without any rear spacer in the rear would be perfect. Front looks to be a little too pushed out so a 10mm I think would be perfect.

Again, this is just what I read on FB. Very curious to see another person try this and post up pics.

I wonder if with out the spacers if there was interference in the wheel liner on the inside..

That could be it too. Very curious your results. Did you pick up a few different size spacers?

I have a set of 12 or 15mm spacers, I’ll make what ever size I need once I get the wheels in hand.

Here’s what I found. I’ve posted before and after pics, the before pics are stock wheels with 12mm spacers. I like the look of the tires more flush to the fender. I had no issues with rubbing with this setup. The 720s wheels are from a 2019. Rears mounted with no spacers puts them basically at the same spot as stock with spacers. Fronts without a spaces look same as stock, slightly inset. I used a 12mm spacers on those which puts it in a similar location as stock with spacer. Neither rear or front appears to have clearance issues, I haven’t had an opportunity to drive it yet. Overall, seemed pretty straight forward.

Looks perfect! Can’t wait to hear your driving impressions. I think I might pull the trigger myself on a set of the same wheels!
