Full refund yes thankfully but dealer hasn’t explained properly except to say the body shop computer system isn’t linked to the sales computer system. This is Harwoods Group which has sales of 500 million so the excuse beggars belief. It was a catastrophic failure of procedures from Mclaren New Forest missing every KPI Mclaren HQ would have set them.
They're a car dealer. It's like blaming a compass for pointing north.

I bought mine from across the country without inspection BUT, I was getting it CPO'd in the price... Maybe this was the same or still under warranty?
Yes, I did exactly the same thing. I did take a mechanic with me, we had them put it up on a lift and spotted a new strut and a broken brake duct. They agreed to pay for the duct, and they'd replaced the strut when they bought the car because it was leaking. The issue I ran into was later because they'd CPO'd the car without checking that all the service records were in the system.
