I think you are missing the point. Let's use your phrase then to drive it home. Why are two LT series numbered (675 and 765) and the other LT (600) is not numbered?
No idea and not bothered with it (I own one). They never said it was going to be numbered, never threw out how many or how little they were going to make.

Inquiring minds always seem to want to know how little or how many regular production cars are made...they keep searching and never get the answer...

An automotive journalists said McLaren told him they were going to make 425 RH and 425 LH or 850 total but I bet they made more than that so who knows is anyones guess.

Here’s some pics..., I had the teeth redone as they were too pixelated but you get the idea... lol

Since you guys asked for it - here are the final 600LT numbers for the USA market. It took me quite some time to put these spreadsheets together and if I didn't do all this work we would have NEVER known the numbers, as McLaren won't release them. The total 600LT numbers for the US market is 720... Interesting they decided on that number...

The spreadsheets attached are based on the date your car entered into the US via customs. So if you are curious when your 600LT arrived into the US port of call, you can search (CTRL + F) your VIN and it will tell you. :)

If you guys want throw me a few bucks for my time, feel free to paypal me (kesslerm1987@gmail.com).

Thank you and let me know if you guys have any questions.

Thanks very much - Really informative and if you add these numbers to the below (which is supposed to be Europe etc (maybe APAC as well) then numbers are still low

I.e. around 1500 units Coupes/Spyders globally

Those are not the final numbers, they are marginally low for North American spec, LHD cars.
