Hi SendIt. I based the pricing off of Bring-A-Trailer, where the last six 650S - clean title - sold for $172k or more. Based on that, $149k seemed fair. Here's the link to the auction history:

When I bought it, it already had the reconstructed title, so I'm not sure. If I had to guess, it looks like there may have been some work done on the front passenger side, so maybe it was a collision / accident?

I can say I've had the car for two years and have had zero issues with it. Everything works great, and it's been a pleasure to drive.

I think the big thing most care about is how the repairs were done. Did they replace the panels? Use Bondo? Information like that is key to the sale.

Thanks Anthony, and agreed. I'm not very mechanically inclined myself, but I did have the car deeply inspected by the local McLaren experts, and they said there is no bondo and the repairs were expertly done. When I originally purchased it, the seller had mentioned where the repairs were done, but I didn't write it down. I'll see if I can track him down.

I'd be happy to get a PPI done either there or another reputable place of the buyer's choosing as well.

Good idea, I've added the VIN to the listing, I'll see if I can find the window sticker pic I was sent from the seller. I do not have the window sticker sadly.

I haven't had any problem, just called up my insurance company and that added it right in. I have heard that some insurance companies don't cover cars with these titles, so you may want to shop around first before buying one / confirm with them using the VIN, but also: I am not an expert on that stuff at all so don't listen to me! lol
