These guys (Hamann) are on a better track. My first impression of this is much more positive than any of the others so far:

I don't have to wonder. I am positive they did NOT. If you put that thing in the wind tunnel, I bet parts would start flying off.

Well if you go and look at your car you'll see that area isn't see-through on the glass anyway:Oh Dear!!!
Whats the stupid strip below the windshield meant to do?Or is that just some leftover piece they threw on for good measure??
The bigger question is whether that roof scoop is actually functional or just tacked on for show?

True Erik,but whats the point of it? Is it to screw up the airflow over the bonnet so it matches the rest of the screwed up airflow over the rest of the car?Well if you go and look at your car you'll see that area isn't see-through on the glass anyway:

Where is the air vent meant to go straight into the cabin?.The one on the Hamman at least looks like it might go into the engine compartment

Oh - I thought you were talking about the extension of the roof scoop down onto the windscreen. If you look back at that photo I think you'll see the hood/bonnet is actually popped open in that photo. You can see a gap along the side as well, just above the headlight lens.

Brings up another good point - if that extension of the scoop is raised, what happens with the wiper?
Also looking at that rear shot you shared it appears there is an outlet duct on the rear of the roof scoop - utterly pointless - reminds me of the roof scoop on the Gemballa Mirage GT (modified Carrera GT) that served no purpose.
So far I'm not too impressed by the tuner crowd's efforts with the 12C.
