Gentlemen,

As provided by my dealer, here is a list of updates to be applied to my car. They do not have the new keys yet in stock (Update 2), so as soon as they get them I will be dropping it off. Should take one day, they say, to complete all 4 updates.

Update 1
Software update to 8.3 version improves the following:
-Key not found message
-Window behavior on door closing
-Quiescent current draw improvements
-confirmation lighting for lock/unlock to be more consistent

Update 2
Key replacements:
-meant to solve key failure issues.

Update 3
Hvac cooling duct rework:
-there could be contact between the hosing and the floor of the vehicle, we need to ensure there is no contact

Update 4
Replace TPMS(tire pressure monitor) control unit for better register of Tire pressures and more accurate info after calculations

other updates also mentioned yesterday are,a small addition to the windscreen wiper that prevents the bottom half of the windshield smearing. From what i remember this is standard for hot humid countries, but its been happening alot on mine and Syd,s car, after mentioning this Mr Foster said we had better roll it out worldwide then!!,just shows you these customer meetings work.
Also most of you will experience the internal engine bay window staining after heavy rain,so they are re-designing the internal rain gutter to stop this happening.
I must say these guys dont stop

Excellent andy thanks for the follow up. Yes I could use the wiper upgrade as the bottom half never seems to get quite as clear as the top, thought maybe I was just driving too fast..
p.s. any mention of them doing sessions like this with North American customers? wonder if the feedback might be different! (insert favourite yankee joke here)

Early days yet 6e,not sure how many with RIC on monday, but only 8 of us yesterday.Maybe thats what your email request was for,as we didnt get it in the UK.
Im still in awe of the attitude of the top Management and hands on guys asking customers directly for their opinions, you wernt left out as Squirrels document is in their hands and appreciated.
They didnt really need to ask some of us,as they were quite frank about the fact that they take great interest(and have meetings) about what the forums are discussing.

Interesting, I highlighted this issue to Greg Levine and the team last year and suggested a guttering modification, Greg said that no-one else had complained but that he'd look into it. He made no promises of a fix but clearly from what you've been told he was not just giving polite 'lip service'.

Impressive stuff.
