When I saw this guy's work on Jalopnik, of a yellow 911, I figured I'd give him a chance. I love unique art. This is the piece he just finished for me - he's delivering it this weekend.

This way I get my graphite grey 12C for the road, and a sexy volcano orange 12C for the home.

Whoa!!!! That is totally awesome. Love it. I thought it was just a painting at first.
How long is it?

About 42" long.

BTW, if anyone is interested in commissioning something similar - his website is www.layeredcustoms.com - price was VERY reasonable compared to lots of other art.

Because in California you can't take possession of plates unless they can be immediately associated with a vehicle, these plates are actually registered to my Cayman R... HAH!

My only criticism and probably because just I don’t get it, is why doesn’t he paint the nuts to match the panel area?

Love the sculpture, but the nuts just annoy me and I would have to paint them to blend in.

I originally thought the same Zippy, but I personally feel they add to the piece - illustrates that it is in fact a sculpture. The only thing I considered was powdercoating them black. I'm sure the artist would be happy to meet any customer request like that.
