Sorry about the confusion.

No worries, I think we were all hoping that you were right. Can't wait till they tease it further and show us more glimpse of this car.

I've heard some things about this car.
Took this information with a large grain of salt (I don't really know this source).

*A target weight of less than 1200 kilos.
*A very Valkyrie AMR Pro front with a bit of Regera.
*Higher engine speed (9000 RPM).
*A power of 1440 Hp (Engine still under test).
*A removable roof that apparently doesn't fit in the trunk, unlike the RS.
*A tiny bit of hybridization.

If this information are true, it's gonna be crazy.

I believe the 'Valkyrie AMR Pro front' part as CvK praised the Valkyrie more than once. What I'm surprised with is that the removable roof can't be stored and the hybrid part. In any case, I'm excited to see this thing next year.

EDIT:
Confirmation by CvK that the car won't be a hybrid in street guise but might have some electrification to race in LeMans.

Yes I just saw that (for hybridization).
The information that the source provided me dates from March 2018 it can that at that time it was intended to be hybrid as CarBuzz says'Koenigsegg told us. It has some hybrid support but not very much."
Anyway, I made the same point on the roof...
Also 1440hp for -1200kilos I find that, Crazy
We'll see. I can't wait!

Wasn't Ragnarok a prophecy that the world would be submerged in water with only two human survivors? In fact isn't that the same as the Noah's Ark story? Koenigsegg Noah doesn't have the same ring to it though.

I'd buy one just for the name, that's how cool it is.

That said, I'd be in for one of these based on performance and engineering merit (obviously).

CvK is frustrated but he'll answer!

https://www.topgear.com/car-news/peb...gsegg-its-game

Needing a kick in the head to start thinking” about improving acceleration, the solution he found is just… wild. “We’re talking 0-250mph in 14 seconds, or something like this. It’s like, black marks all the way up to 250mph (400kmh).”

More info from CvK via Topgear.com

1400 bhp base
Every single part is new and not shared with the Agera
Car is slightly longer than the Agera
Lighter pistons
Higher roofline
Bigger wheels
Rear wheel steering
Few extra 100 rpm at the top end over the Agera
Active rubber mounts for the engine (like the Regera)
1000 kg of downforce at 155 mph
"There are plenty of gears" Maybe an 8, 9 or even 10-speed?

Mr Khoshbin confirms the name Ragnarok.

He also says that the Ragnarok will be the most aerodynamic and most powerful Koenigsegg.

According to this article, The Ragnarok will have a different name when it goes into production in the next 2 years. Also it will have a nine speed transmission and they are only building 125 cars and 72 are already spoken for. The article is in swedish so you have use a translator to read it in english.

Interesting both the limited numbers and nine gears. I wonder if Koenigsegg is planning to have multiple versions of the 'Ragnarok' or simply have 125 of the same car and that's it. In terms of the gears, it's interesting that CvK decided on nine gears, when talking about the Regera he said his inspiration was to remove all those useless gears that aren't in use at any given time because they're useless weight. I'm guessing here but that transmission has to be a very light (more so than the Agera RS's) gearbox, and 9 gears? is that for efficiency or top speed? Doubt efficiency is Koenigsegg's main concern.

Only time will tell but exciting stuff! I hope they include their FreeValve technology on this car.

Take this with a grain of salt but someone mentioned on instagram that this car will have 1750hp. If this is true this car will absolutely destroy everything out there.
