New to forum and new to McLaren ownership

hi everyone. i recently took delivery of my 2019 570S spider. it's my first McLaren.

this site helped me a lot in deciding that the 570S was the car for me, narrowing down the spec i wanted, and the purchase process itself. i'm thrilled to be a new McLaren ownership and plan to read/learn a lot, and hopefully contribute a little along the way.

here are some pics of the car:

Well done, evil panda, well done!!

Let me know what surprised you most...I haven't pulled the trigger & am wondering what lies ahead that I haven't thought of yet.

Thank you, guys. The color is tarocco orange.

Bob_D, i’ve only had it for 48 hours and 150 miles, but i guess a couple of things. First, i’d read all the reviews and watched all the videos talking about how nice it is to daily drive, but i was still surprised at the ride comfort. It takes long sweepers, mid-corner bumps, and decreasing radius offramps flatter and more stable than anything i’m used to (multiple Porsche GT-car owner for comparison) 3 and GT4 owner, yet the ride comfort is that of a luxury GT. And McLaren achieves this with a traditional spring/damper setup?? It’s voodoo.

Second, wind buffeting with the top down is minimal up to speeds of, ahem, 130+. Or so a ‘friend’ tells me . That’s quite impressive and important to me because that’s the main reason I’d never owned a convertible until now.
