Check out the custom exhaust

Watch the video

Installed the Wiestec turbos and went 3.5 inch custom catless exhaust from the turbos back and heat wrapped them.

Ready for the e85 fuel system and we’re good to set some records.

Wow!!! Exhaust set up looks sick!

Do you have a blanket on the downpipes or just a wrap?

Looks great! One thing I'd watch out for with a wrap is steaming. When wraps get wet they tend to steam during startup. Not sure about the 12C design of the deck, or if there are additional heat shields your putting on, but if rain water gets down to the pipes, they will steam with a wrap. That's one reason I used Heatshield Armor which has a metal layer on top. A coating like Jet Hott should eliminate that issue too.

Not sure if your design will have that issue (i.e. if you have another metal shield going on top then that would divert any liquid), but just thought I'd mention it.

Thanks!

Thanks bud, yes we will use all stock bonnet deck heat shields. Also this car will con be driven in the rain unless getting stuck in the rain.

I’ve also had heat wrap on many cars and they do steam if wet but goes away rather quickly when at running temps.

Yeah, my Evo steams like crazy after a rain storm. People think it’s on fire! I wrapped the entire manifold in Inferno wrap. Only steams for a few minutes, but definitely freaks out bystanders 😉

Thanks!

Ya it’s funny , you can see in the video it’s smoking but that is because it’s first start up and it’s buring off oils from the wrap being new.

Nope it’s the 4inch back of tips for the 3.5 exhaust to rest inside of and they bottle neck down the 3inch tip outlets
