It took longer than expected, but was just able to get dyno numbers for my 12C with Pure Turbos - Stage 2. I know a few forum members have been waiting to see what these turbos can do. We pushed them as far as they can go. First of all, huge thanks to all my supporters and the team over at AMS Performance, PureTurbos, Dodson Motorsports, Soul Performance, Dyno Spectrum, XPRD and P1 Motorcars! If anyone is looking for an awesome indy shop in lower CT, I highly suggest you reach out to P1 Motorcars. Really nice guys over there!
When it was all said and done, we made:
Pump Gas: 795 rwhp / 690 rwtq
Race Gas: 832 rwhp/ 710 rwtq
So when you factor in 12% drivetrain loss, on race gas, it is making about 931 hp / crank. For reference, that is more hp than the McLaren P1 (903 hp) with about a 100 lbs less weight
However, we did have some issues with the dyno tach pickup, so not all of the runs were correctly logging torque. However, from the few runs that did go off without a hitch, it looks like my peak torque is between 690 - 710 ft lbs. at the wheels. Pretty healthy! As such, chose to just include the HP curve in the videos, but will drop in a sample screenshot of one of the lower power pulls that was able to log TQ below.
Here is the video...enjoy!! See you guys this race season
