There is a new red. It's called 'Memphis Special Red' and afaik only available initially on the '#3 Performance' launch edition. HTHs

I just learned that not all colors of the launch editions will be offered in all markets. If this is true, the options are further limited.

That sounds right up my alley... Were there actual color samples at the event or were the colors shown as renders on iPads?

Three people that I know that have a contract for BP23( myself included) have had concerns over McLaren's handling of early deposits with little to no new intel on the model made available.

My understanding it's supposed to be aventador pricing. So 400-600k.

If the new model gets bumped to say 375k in year 2, I think I might prefer adding 125k to that to get a p15 as a value proposition.

Only on screen. That, and the fancy names, make it really hard to categorize the colors.

I have not gone to the event, as the Asian preview is on the 25th of Feb. Asia Pacific folks have shown the glimpse of the color palette of the launch edition from the ipad discreetly to the first few buyers.

I'm told it will be considerable more than that ZP...probably over 600k

So not really an aventador competitor. Seems they scaled all their prices up a good bit from the current established price points. Interesting. If they don't overproduce then prices may hold. If they do, the crater will be deep.

How right you are .
Get their production correct and we will all be in clover .
Over produce and we will have memories of the past ( 12c/650)
Appantly one of the last comments heard from Mclaren " are we overproducing "
If the 720s is as good as we have been advised then --a premier price for a premier product !
I for one would be very very cautious until the car was launched and road tested by the press - - remember it was the press who blighted the 12c/650s ( messrs Needell / Plato ) after road testing .
Following this would be the time to increase pricing.

What do people want, same pricing for new models? Not going to happen.

yes, If prices increases than they also provided some extra features.

If you love cars and can afford it.
And ready to pay for it then bit increase in the prices does't matters you.
