I would definitely like to. Would be easier if it was held a week later as early December is normally quite busy business wise.

Yes I saw that. Well you know how McLaren under promises and over delivers so I figured that could be a potential surprise with a 725 designation since there is a bit of wiggle room with the actual hp number.

On another model not sure if the numbers were pulled from a dyno but one of the blue printed engines I'm told had a metric 692 measurement. Reminds me of an april fools post of a 692 or 693 HS spider.

Jamie you're in luck CVN-65 Enterprise was just officially decommissioned.

Wow, I thought the P15 was going to be cancelled because the P14 took so many things from what was supposed to go into the P15. Particularly that the P14 was supposed to get hybrid power in MY2 or 3. Or is the P15 really the P14 with hybrid power?

Well now, I cannot wait to see what happens!

Unless P15 is the 3-seater based on P14, I doubt there will be a brand new model in mid-2018.

The three seater is currently known as BP23 and that is a couple of years away. P15 will be a totally separate car.

Andy says no roof scoop so I think we can stand down. I'll keep my fresh $5 and you can keep the carrier firmly planted in the ocean. As a side note, I'm much too much of a Trekkie to ever recommend dropping something named Enterprise on something else.

Mom: good night.

The only person? That, good sir, sounds like an alternative fact.

Got more info about the launch editions. The performance launch edition comes with the carbon roof piece, i prefer the glass as the first two editions come with.

Performance compared to luxury 2 has following differences :
More exterior and interior carbon, sport exhaust, stealth pack, alcantare steering wheel, track telemetry and cameras.

Luxury 2 compared to luxury 1 has more carbon in and out.

Luxury 1 and 2 have same colours, same interior options, same caliper options, same wheels. Caliper only polished or red.

Performance is missing two colours compared to luxury. But has two other colours instead, a red colour and I think a black one. Also has super light weight wheels as option. More caliper colors as option. More complex interiors it seems.

None of the editions comes with bucket seats.

Funnily enough I was just speaking to someone about this earlier today and was told exactly the same. I think it's a shame not having a launch spec with the glass roof/bucket seats/lightweight wheels. Personally I think the glass roof really will make the car and is a must have for me (well along with the bucket seats and lightest possible wheels but probably in that order ) I'm a weight obsessive so while I'd get the glass anyway if I ended up getting a P14 but I'd still like to know how much I'm sacrificing...!

Given the level of personalization McLaren typically affords their customer, I can't see buying a car like this and being limited in any way on the spec choices.

I'd certainly be patient and wait until they've pushed out all the Launch Editions to the gotta-have-it crowd even if it means waiting 6 months. There's also the matter of teething issues with any new car, which is another reason I wouldn't care to be at the front of the line.
