Have to admit, I don't understand how this can be possible. I realise the new Pzero has set some remarkable track times but even allowing for a big advance in tyre tech it seems very hard to believe the pzero now has the same grip levels as a trofeo.

You are right, I actually didnt mean the tyres have improved, but that the 720s performs the same as the LT with a lesser tyre.

Ah... Darn I was just thinking if that was the case the pzero now had trofeo performance I'd be able just bung on a set of MC1 spec tyres again albeit with a slightly wider front....

If so, that would sort of confirm the 4s faster claim on Castelloli with same tyre.

Pretty sure it doesnt go from 0-200 under 7.5s as was mentioned above, but who is counting
Grip level on 720 pzero same as lt trofeo !
Quote was 0-120 in 7.6 seconds, but he was a bit stressed as the top speed in the same sentence was 112 mph, you had to feel for him , it was a big occasion ....but overall the car is quicker than an LT ..except it does it is sublime comfort..leaving the hardcore fun to the current LT ..

The LT ran 0-200kph in 7.6s with Auto Bild and the 720S has a higher hp/ton and more absolute hp. That's my $0.02.

So if you knock a bit off these times, that's what possible. Oh course the whole 1ft roll-out thing does vary from tester to tester though.

When you say "Best sound so far", are you meaning it's the best sound so far of any McLaren model?

Is it more of a bassier American v8 sound or higher pitched like the 570S?

It's been posted. Please look through the thread (at least the last few pages) before you post.

Edit: this thread is only 4 pages long, you seriously didn't see it in page 2?
