Recall-Passenger Airbag letter.

So, just received two letters from MC today. One for the 2016 650S I traded and the other for my 675LT both saying I needed to have the passenger airbags replaced due to the widely known issue.

Question is, does MC pay for transport when a recall like this occurs, Iím a $1000 round trip transport from the nearest dealer and I donít have a spare few days to drive to ATL, let them do the replacement, and drive home.

Sadly I do not think they cover transport but I may be wrong. Mine too got recalled at the same time it has been in the shop for over two weeks now awaiting the airbag parts. They won't order the airbag parts until you have the car at the dealer so that's another downside.

I asked this very same question and I’m awaiting a reply to see if McLaren will at least go half on the transport. I was told they’ll work with me. We’ll see what they come back with.

My dealer ordered parts for my airbag recall a couple of weeks ago for my LT and just called today and said bring it in...parts have arrived...
