Left Foot Braking

How many folks out there are left foot brakers? I find the position of the pedals is absolutely perfect. Just curious.

Is it 'driving schizophrenia' to right-foot brake when driving casually, yet switch to left-foot when intentionally driving spiritedly?

An adage from the misspent youth of my skydiving days: "Slow is smooth, and smooth is fast..."

HaHa — Left foot braking doesn't work well in Tesla — the regen gets in the way!

I right foot brake normally and left foot brake when pushing on.

Hopefully I’ve decided in advance what I am doing unlike last weekend when I was changing foot mid corner on one occasion. :-)

Left-foot braking definitely the way to go with an automatic gearbox, although it can get a bit complicated when you get into a manual gearbox car. Given the direction in which cars are heading, pretty much to the exclusion of manual 'boxes, I think every learner driver should start with LFB. The only snag is that a lot of car-makers still put the brake pedal near to the throttle pedal rather than on the opposite side of the steering column, requiring the driver to angle his/her body accordingly.

If the pedal position is good I'd always left foot brake in a 2 pedal car. Always interesting to do so after driving a manual car though for a while given the clutch pedal requires far less sensitivity than brake.....
