Help with insurance for 570s!

I will be picking up a McLaren in the next 3 weeks or so. I will be driving it at the most of 3,000 miles a year.
Is there a particular company that you guys have found to have good rates for insuring a McLaren?
If you guys don’t mind... post how much you pay for to insure your McLaren and what company you use.
I was lucky with my Ariel Atom. I paid $500 a year to have it insured for a $100,000 car. I was shocked to see how cheap insurance was for my Ariel Atom.

Recommendation: my insurance broker, Morgan Duffy of Hayden Wood Insurance outside of Boston, has an entire practice devote to providing coverage of exotic and vintage automobiles. I think a good percentage of Ferrari Challenge drivers insure through him, and his company will help find great (and affordable) coverage for any interesting cars (and properties). They have a lot of PCA, FCA, BMW CCA guys as customers too, and a lot of members at Monticello, Thompson, etc. track clubs use them. Morgan personally drives a Scuderia and a 360 Challenge, and several other nice cars (I'm trying to get him to buy a McLaren).

Disclaimer: I have no pecuniary interest in this sale, no financial gain will accrue to me, your mileage may vary, do not remove tag under penalty of law, shut off all cell phones and electronic devices when the aircraft door closes, no smoking inside the building, rest 30 minutes after eating before swimming, remove tag under penalty of law, do not wash with colors, place your seatbacks and trays in their full and upright positions, good for use until date indicated, please obey out-of-bounds markings, etc.

Thanks for the info guys..... the reason I asked is because I was curious as to if a specialty company (one who specializes in vintage or exotics) would have better rates. I figured if you insured via State Farm for example; they probably assume you drive the vehicle 15,000 miles a year while the other specialty insurance companies probably understand that most of these cars get driven much less than that.
When I insured my Ariel Atom.... they were able to give me a great rate given that I drove the car less than 5,000 miles a year.

Was able to get my Farm Bureau guy to write it into my normal policy for $122 month. Initially because it was a “high value” car they thought they would have to write it into a separate policy.

Really depends on age and driving history (duh...)

At 32 years old, Stare Farm is charging me $1900/yr for a 2012 MP4-12c for 250/500/100 and $1k deductible.

You will get the best rates with specialized carriers who will want to take most all of your policies. They will want to make sure your high value car is not a daily driver. They may want your homeowners too, or personal liability. My agency of the last 15 years struggled badly when my 570 arrived. Agent bound the policy and I got it registered, 2 weeks later I got a call not to drive it, not insured. They lied to cover their ass as they bound the car on their dime and did not have an underwriting carrier who would take it. Wanted to put me in an assigned risk pool for $6K+ year just for that car. Then insured my 07 GT3 RS for 50k. I had to dump them.

As you track out onto the straight keep the loud pedal mashed to the floor. Hit the brakes when you see God.
