Im sure thats going to be a thing.

Also just remembered, the 720S Spider with its roof up, you can use the storage area to put stuff right? so i guess this, with an extended fixed roof/hatch is where we get some more luggage space ?

There are a few more spy shots in this article.

Looks like the car will be displayed at the Top Marques Monaco show at the end of May.

there is not much space there compared to the coupe when the roof is up ... from the looks I guess the GT will have some kind of deep luggage compartment a bit like a 911 without back seats, which will additionally be accessible by the rear window like on the 570GT

So this GT is probably going to combine 720S suspension w/ 570S engine with more sound insulation for a more GTesque experience. It'll probably have a hatch like a 570GT.
What I really want is a mini Speedtail with a central driving position. Give me 3 seats, 570S motor, 720S suspension and I'll gladly trade my 570S for one.

Donít think it has 720 suspension.

3 seats seem to be a big problem with US crash tests and passenger safety as was mentioned in the Speedtail thread ... don't think Mclaren wants to go through this again on a potential low cost volume model

It has to have, otherwise McLaren can't meet the super comfort objective. So I am sure it will have a softened version.

I have a feeling Mikeyb probably has a. It more information about this car than you do. If he thinks it doesnít then, Iím guessing, it doesnít.

He who asks a question looks foolish for 5 minutes. He who doesn't ask a question remains foolish forever.

PS - nothing I say should be taken seriously but I am lucky enough to live in Woking and do get to see a lot of McLarens

Softened suspension maybe. But the 720 suspension no, cos that would kill the 720 market.

Not long until we find out.

I have no inside info on it, but am of the view that McLaren must fit Super Series suspension to this car to maximise comfort, which is what this car is all about.

It need not be 720S version suspension of course, as they can use the older 650S system.
