Mclaren 570

Hello. I am currently in the market for a 570 and wanted to get some feedback from owners and members about the reliability of the 570. Where I am located we do not have a service center, so reliability will be the biggest factor when I purchase this car. I am currently in a Lamborghini Gallardo and I put about 4000 miles per year on it and plan on doing about the same with the 570. Has anyone had any issues (warranty or not) with the 570? Any input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you

I have a 2016 570s, 3700 miles, 10 months, I have had zero problems with it.

I've had my '16 570S about 8 months and 3k miles, needed a new battery after it threw a fault code, and the windshield was replaced because of a stress fracture, both replaced under warranty. No other issues.

I've had my 570 for a little over a year. I had a few 'growing pain' type things but the only real issue was a faulty door latch. This part has since been redesigned so you shouldn't have this problem on a new car. I highly recommend you fo look through the threads in the 570s section of the forum to see what others have said.

I've had StormTrooper for 9 months or 2200 miles and only one problem => haven't driven it near enough.

Thank you for all the responses. Sounds like the 570 will be an exciting and reliable car. Will be pulling the trigger on one.

The early ones in '16 had a few common problems, but '17s do not. BTW, from 2017 April production 570s, the instrument cluster is one large screen like that of 720s, not three screens. I bought a Feb '17 model and had the three screen instrument cluster, then i looked at the April production model, it had one large screen. Bummer....

Wow that is great to know. Did not know they would change the car like that mid year. Thank you I will definitely look at the production date. BTW that is a great collection of vehicles you have.
