Hello,
I m Belgian, working in Lithuania. Currently driving Lotus and TVR, I dont thank Ron Dennis to produce a car i really want but which is in the price bracket ine step higher of the other cars i usually want. Still, i really want one so i hope to be able to buy one in maybe 2 years, hope we will have feedback of the first owners in the meantime

I like good sports cars with F1 cred, driving only Ferraris so far. Very curious about the new McLaren. All the best to all members!

Nandogh, it is quite interesting that apparently a Ferrari dealer can also represent McLaren. I would have thought that neither Ferrari nor McLaren would like such head to head competition products to be sold on the same premises. I'm looking forward to seeing the MP4-12C taking its place on the market. I believe the new MP4-12C is the best thing that could happen to McLaren, to Ferrari and most of all to us as clients of such cars. To me there has not until now been a true contender to what Ferrari is producing today. McLaren has the pedigree, technology and F1 knowledge to achieve the same or higher desireability as that of a Ferrari. Lamborghini and Porsche don't cut it on desireability and refinement and Ferrari risk losing some of its desireability by making too many less fantastic cars like the California. This is going to keep Ferrari even higher on their tip toes and vice versa for McLaren. For us aficionados that is just marvellous. The next battle is likely due when it is time for the successors of the Enzo and the F1. Another dream battle for me would be Ferrari making a new small high performance Dino and McLaren making the equivalent contender. Competition is good! Interesting times ahead, indeed! Capo,
Welcome to the site. Glad to see you on this side of the automotive world. I think a lot of Ferrari owners are going to be interested in testing these cars out. Good things to come I'm sure. |

Regarding McLaren and Ferrari ownership, I could consider owning a Porsche and a Lambo but it would not give me the same combination of utmost performance PLUS exclusivity and refined elegance. McLaren and Ferrari both do it for me in that respect and I see no conflict in owning and pampering both cars. The same reasoning as with the Porsche and the Lambo goes for a big MB S-Class. Great car, wouldn't mind owning one but I'd rather cruise the surroundings in one of my Rollers. Salve, Capo You cannot make life longer but you can make it wider and also a lot higher.
