Default Our stables

Here's mine - 2006 FGT with 650hp, ERA Cobra complete with 508hp side-oiler, MG Midget with 501hp Chevrolet. Currently building a Morris Minor Traveler for use in UK - will have MX-5 running gear. Can't wait to add the MP-4

Me too. I never understood why the F50 seems to get less of the limelight than than the F40 and Enzo. While I will admit the F40 is probably my favourite Ferrari of all time, I think the F50 is perhaps the pinnacle of Maranello in that it was the most similar to an actual Formula One racecar. Mid V12 with a gated manual, too? There may never be another.

I believe it had a lot to do with the fact that Ferrari never really let the press near the F50 at launch. All were pre-sold so there really was not any need for publicity. In addition, they were deliberately trying to stop speculators from getting their hands on F50s (which was a major issue on the F40) so keeping the noise level down was part of the strategy.

Default still in awe, my fav' of all-time...

Perhaps one of my fav' EVO magazine issues of all-time was the "288GTO vs. F40 vs. F50 vs. Enzo" from the February 2004...
