Predictions for this weekend?

Course fits Buttons style much better than Hamilton.

I would expect to see lots of broken CF by the end of the race.

Lewis is a racer and I think he's probably had quite enough of this Mr. Nice Guy stuff that lost him time at Monza. I think he'll challenge for the win, or crash trying.

If Vettal gets out in front everyone is in trouble, Lewis and Jenson have to get at him early, maybe Alonso can be a spoiler and help out the boys
Shame i have to get up at 4-30 in the morning to watch it. Yes i DVR it, but when you been a fan as lon as i have you just cant not watch it live

Lucky for me, I managed to wangle a work-related visit to Sing, so have got my tickets and am off to the race later today! Also get to visit the dealership tomorrow amd will see the matt orange special ops car
Lots of complaints about the track being too bumpy and the race being too long

Would have to be an unintentional help, as I remember Alonso specifically saying he would NOT help Hamilton (or Button), he hates the McLaren organization so much!

A 2nd place finish in the driver's championship this year by Button-McLaren would be exemplary considering the superiority of the Newey-designed Red Bull racer. . .

Another well driven race by Button. Hamilton on the other hand.........brilliant and incredibly stupid.

with different traffic patterns towards the end Button could have taken Vettel - his last few laps were beautiful, pity he didn't find that form earlier in the race.
BTW, 6th El, I asked the McLaren guys about Ring times, and they noted that they've been to the Ring twice, worked on setting-up and finding the best lines, and then both times it started raining just before the "runs in anger", hence no published lap times. Another trip is to happen shortly

Thanks for the update re: Ring. Too bad, but hey perhaps something still to look forward to and an ace in the hole for the PR dept when they next come under attack.

Re: Sing GP, yes Button is in fine form. Saw in interview he said his goal was to get the most points of any driver in the 2nd half of the season. Not sure how close he is to that, but certainly putting in a strong effort!

Bad luck for Hamilton- I did think the stewards were harsh considering that the reason he nicked Massa is because Massa braked too early for the corner. Still Lewis's fault, but the non-sh!t Massa of 2008 would never have been such a wuss on the brakes. Perhaps that is who Lewis was racing against, from memory.
