Bummer. Has it been confirmed 100% that it will not be a central driving position?

I would say that is almost a certainty that it's a two driver side by side arrangement. Physically, with the carbon chassis shape from the mold of that for the MP4-12C, I just can't see how there's space to do a three seater.

Is a two seater, look at the prototype. The front is a fake, but the rest is the final thing with lots of camouflage. So the interior is the final thing.
![]() The GT3 mule wasn't the GT3 really. The rear wheels size is enormous, bigger than the GT3 ones. And the cooling duct on the hood wasn't seen on the first MP4-12C GT3. I think that this thing is the first mule of the P12. Looks like an engine test. The enormous wings are neccessary if you think that it's an MP4-12C with a 900 hp engine. If you wnt to make three seater today the car will be, at least, 2,2 meters width without mirrors.
Look at the HTT Plethore LC-750 (222 cm wide): 2010-HTT-Plethore-LC-750-Front-And-Side-1600x1200.jpg Adrian - Automotive fanatic |

Oh wow!!! Ignore that last PM. This thing looks great Mark.
![]() So for those who have seen it how close or far is this? Ron Dennis said at Windsor it's now ok to open your collective mouths. ![]() -Best Gene Visit my McLaren blog if you want to read things you already know about.... http://insidemclaren.com

Is this the real successor for the McLaren F1? I doubt! This is for the wider markets, segments, rather than for the purchasers who had the, national interest, with a unique collaboration of London and Munich in the Nineties. I'm sure it's better in all aspects, but i doubt that it's going to be remembered as the legendary F1! ///Cheers Last edited by MTC; 09-07-2012 at 04:24 PM. |

I remember hearing a few years back, that the wheels would be "something special" too. I wonder if that's still true?
