I sold this a long time ago. Had a few from dismantled cars. I've sold a few in between using them to make turbo kits.

Shameless plug, turbo kit coming very very soon. Stock spool and 900 whp....that's the plan.

Hi
I am planning to build a M838T engine for a racecar. Any recommendations what the engine will need to be as reliable as possible with an output of approximately 550hp at 750rpm.
The engine will be mated to a Hewland NLT gearbox in a Prosport 3000 racecar.
It will probably gain some weight from the original Cosworth engine and the small hewland FT200, but I am aiming for a dry weight of 850kg.
Has there been any known problems associated with these engines?
