New dealer in California coming ?

Was at a track day at Fontana today . Talk was that an additional McLaren dealer will be announced shortly. Probably in Palm Springs at an existing high-end dealership

In other news... the event was another Fast Toys day but with over 50 entries of which there were two 12-C's one 675 and one 570
Also over 35 Ferraris 5 Porsche GT 3's and various misc.
Uniquely 6 of the Ferraris were yellow
Perfect weather No crashes

It is better to exit a turn properly than enter too fast but with ABS just go deep anyway

I bought my car from the dealership in Rancho Mirage, which is just a few miles south of Palm Springs. They have McLaren, Aston Martin, Rolls Royce, Bentley, Audi, Porsche, Maserati, Jaguar, Range Rover, etc... Can't imagine anyone else in the area taking over. As far as I know, the new locations in North America will be Denver, Las Vegas, and Montreal. Chicago is moving to another owner in the city as well. If they add more I think Seattle, Charlotte, and maybe Indianapolis would fill in some gaps.

Robin. The Palm Springs dealer you mentioned is the one that is or soon will be a full-on M dealership

Ok yea, right now they do sales and service for McLaren but the building they're in is shared with Maserati. The entire dealership complex is enormous because of all the brands there. Sounds like you're saying they're going to construct a standalone building for McLaren, which will be great. I hope they do that with my local dealer as well since right now I have to walk through a Mini showroom to get to the service advisor, and I have serious beef with those guys
