Default Special Colors

Has anyone inquired about paint to match or special colors? Are there any cars built with a non Mclaren color? I can't seem to get away from McLaren orange but I saw an old Jag with a deep metallic burgundy at a classic car show that would look amazing. In was so dark that it appeared almost black. It was what I expected fire black to be like. Then I though about a Mexico or gulf blue car. In the end I have a feeling it will be Mclaren Orange with orange stitching and a ton of Carbon Fiber. If anyone has pics of a special color please post them.

They will do almost anything requested colour wise. If I remember correctly it starts at £12k. I know they have had requests for Fezza Red!

I got quoted 'ballpark' £9.5k for special colour. Think largely depends on how trick you want the paint.
Now given you could get a pretty special wrap for about £2k + it would protect paintwork that seems better value...

I had a bit of time this afternoon and stopped in at McLaren Philly. They are very accommodating and honestly enthusiastic about the cars. Many thanks to Rich and Chad. I brought this subject up and I heard that someone has ordered the kermit green that porsche uses on the GT3 and there is a Gulf blue out there as well. I can't wait to see something really unique.

Not sure if this is 'unique' depending on your definition of the word, but I certainly didn't see it in the catalogue.

Before someone cries Photoshop, there's another photo too from Playon except the colors seem way off in this one:

...and some more.
