Drive Invitation - SoCal - Ojai - Santa Barbara County

Guys, I'm planning to do a weekend drive mid-April, and you are all invited to tag along.

There are no stickers here, no tshirts, no sponsors, no registration fee, no country clubs, and no valet parking. But you will get the best drive, that puts all other organized drives to shame.

The destination will be in the Santa Barbara wine region / Solvang with a Saturday overnight stay. Roundtrip could be accomplished in a day, if you are so inclined, but it will be a long day. Departure will be early in the morning. This is a good trip to bring the significant other.

Drive will be similar to "Ojai to Wine Country," but no horse riding: TR: Yosemite National Park

Definitely interested. Closing on a house on the 11th, so my attendance will be determined by the move in date. Will let you know.

PM me for hotel info, if you're interested in going, and intend to stay the night in Solvang.

I understand Sunday the 16th is Easter. The trip is 425 miles round trip, which could be done in 1 day. Alternatively, the return trip is 160 miles, which can be done in 2-2.5 hours early in the morning, if you need to be home for Easter activities.

I don't anticipate any traffic on this route - perhaps only on day 2 for the return drive.
