I might be interested. My main concern would be road conditions. This winter has featured lots of slides, one-lane ops, standing water, etc, along this route. But it's been dry for a few days now, might be okay.

My understanding is that the road is now clear--one of the intended participants checked it out--and will do another check run. So far there are an Adventador SV, Ferrari 458 and 2 570S attendees. Hope to see you there!

If you take 84 home from Alice's, wave as you pass Buck's; I'll probably be in there having brunch.

Are one of those two cars the organizers? Generally in Bay Area if it becomes known that there is an exotic car rally then a lot of people show up (camera cars, etc). Not much of a drive if that happens .

Think so, owned by Joe; I was asked to put the advert up on McLife. You have much more experience than I of these types of events--setup by PM's! If this one gets swamped by amateur paparazzi then guess we disperse.....
Hopefully it goes OK.

I just drove most of the route in reverse (Skyline from Page Mill to 9, then 9 down), and it's clear except for just a few spots where a little water's running across the road -- not a problem unless you're driving too fast to avoid cyclists and deer, in which case you deserve to spin.

Organizer is a teenager who is neighbor of one of the 570's that will be on the drive. they have been posting it in different places trying to get people to come on the drive.

my cars at mcalren san francisco. I might try to hitch a ride from the starting point to mclaren san francisco and pick up my car from there. (can't tell if this route goes through mclaren sf).

Just my opinion but people who want to go from the west side of the bay to the meeting point is a little bit of a waste. I'd just get a secondary meeting point (mclaren sf) and meet up from there and then on the way to alice's.

Hard to tell as the map is tiny, but it looks like route is 880 southbound from Fremont down to 9 in Los Gatos, up 9 to Skyline and then to Alices.

Maybe the organizer can set up a secondary meeting point? Mac SF in Palo Alto, or even Saratoga or Los Gatos? Makes more sense for those of us on the peninsula.
