720S - Actual confirmed orders, specifications, MSO

This thread should have posts about confirmed orders, specifications selected (Launch Edition, as well as dealer, and customer specs), and MSO Options for the 720S.

(Mods: If we get a section for the 720S, please move. Thanx)

Has nobody on here placed an order for an LE yet? or are you all keeping it under wraps? ;-)

720S - Actual confirmed orders, specifications, MSO

I don't think anyone has placed a specific order because dealers won't have the details of what cars they're getting (or can get) until Tuesday or later. I've told my dealer which luxury edition I want but that might change when they get exact specifics of prices and what's on each car. My dealer has reserved two P14 slots for me; a launch edition and a customer-ordered car. I'm not 100% sure if I'll want to change out the launch car but I'll spec something and then decide whether to keep it or sell it once I've had a few months saddle time in the launch car. Our 570S was a fairly early car and it's been 100% rock solid.

UK dealers know what cars they will be getting, but as we are all under an NDA, best not to say more until Tuesday.

The "white" upright seat bolsters are a pain. Make sure it is treated and take extra care sliding into the seat.

Well, I got the US price list (I'm sure your dealer can get you a copy). Looks like my spec would come in around $320K, that's better than I was anticipating. However, there are some options which I have not a clue what they look like. For instance, the graphite silver zircon brightwork and brushed iridium brightwork. Also, I don't see any option that provides the extended carbon shift paddles. The paddles in the car I saw in LA were short and stubby like my old 12C. I much prefer the longer paddles in my 570.

Hmm, no large paddles is a deal breaker for me. I've grown accustomed to them on the LT.

As stupid and ridiculous as it sounds, I think it would be a deal breaker for me as well but I imagine they will be available in time. Or they're available now and I just can't see it anywhere on the options list. It is only day 1.

That is ridiculous - you can always get paddle extenders! Besides, MSO will do anything you want, you just need to pay. This is like not buying a car because you don't like the font the model name is written in.

Super ridiculous. MSO ain't so easy to work with, though. I could ask my dealer to get me a quote on something for this car and I bet it'd take 8 weeks to hear back from them on it. However, like I mentioned, I'm sure it's available and I'm just missing it somewhere in the options list.

Should be in the MSO defined options section of the price list. Steering wheel with extended shift paddles - Carbon Fibre (with a whopping price to match)
