FABSPEED MOTORSPORT | 650S ECU Tune

Achieve maximum power gains without sacrificing drivability or reliability. Maps are available for completely stock cars, or for cars equipped with Sport Cats, Catbypass Pipes, X-Pipe Exhausts, upgraded turbos, and more; we custom tailor the tune to your needs and your 650’s specifications.

My customers 650S was the last of several vehicles we used for development. It sounded great on our in-house Dynojet, I wish I could share media but my client requested to remain completely anonymous.

Feel free to reach out to me via PM to unlock hidden power within your 650S.

Removing the ECU in your McLaren is very simple!

Simply remove the passenger side rear wheel. Then remove the wheel well panel and then BOOM - it's right there!

This makes getting an ECU tune much easier to get done! Our turnaround time of 24-48 hours for tuning and overnight shipping is one of the fastest in the industry. We will have you back in your McLaren, with more power, in a matter of no time!

PM me for more details or if you have any questions. I would be happy to help!

Without having intimate knowledge of this situation, it's hard to provide feedback and assistance. We've flashed a great amount of McLaren ECU's and this is definitely NOT normal. We'll work with the customer to get to the bottom of the issues - which at this time could be any number of things. Again, we'll get to the bottom of it quickly but need to deal with the customer directly. This isn't necessarily helping anyone and potentially rushing to a conclusion until we are able to diagnose and correct. We don't rush to blame anyone or anything, but we do our best to make things right.

Our tuner is quite experienced, and we've proven our tunes time and time again - we have our own MP4-12C running our tune that has been pushed hard and many customers have experienced the difference.

As you are optimizing the car and pushing it closer to the limits (it's important to note that we never push a car beyond a set level of safety with our tunes, we believe in reliable power) potential problems can arise. Weak plugs, exhaust leaks, wiring issues, any number of problems can pop up as a result of the increased load on the car.

We're here, we're listening, we'll make it right.

It could be something as simple as the ECU not being completely plugged in with the clips not completely locked. Not that I'm suggesting the owner in question hasn't checked things out, I'm just saying that there's lots of things to check that could be outside of the tune.

Garage
Or failure to disconnect the battery or pull the ecu power fuse when removing and reinstalling the ecu.
